Your “Wish List” and Feasibility Analysis

With you we will define your goals in writing-the size of the house as well as its look and possible material choices. With that in hand, we will prepare a zoning analysis and review wetland/shore regulations to determine permitting requirements. We will also review the Design Review Board standards for compliance.

Selection of the Design Team

Based on your Wish List, we will recommend at least three architectural firms and three landscape architectural firms for you to interview. While design capabilities and construction knowledge are important, strong people chemistry with the design team is also a critical factor. .

Budgeting and Scheduling>

Early in the project we will establish budgets and schedules. We will review them continuously, suggesting options and alternatives to control costs as well as focusing on your expected completion timing. .

Bidding and Contractor Selection

With the architect, we will review the bids from the contractors and then prepare a comparative analysis of the bids, so that you can make a fully informed selection of the contractor.
